WishGarden Herbs' AfterBirth Sitzbath is an herbal soak made specifically for women post-birth to soothe minor irritations. Instructions for use.
Soak in a soothing sitzbath 1-3 times a day after delivery for up to 2 weeks. Place a handful (approx. 1 cup) into a quart of boiling water. Simmer for 5-10 minutes. Strain out herbs and add remaining liquid to warm water in a Sitz Bath Tub, large bowl or small tube. Do not over-dilute in a full bathtube. Add a tablespoon of Sea Salt to each sitzbath for added benefits. Makes 2-3 baths.
