Love this Scale
This scale is convenient and very accurate. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that it doesn't have the red marker piece like the others I've used. Not sure why they would even make them without that to help in accurate readings!

Hanging scale
I've had mine since 2000. I used it to weigh hundreds of babies in my 5 year home birth career, hundreds of chickens from my homestead in the years between then and now, and I'm once again using it to weigh babies in my birth center. Seeing the picture of this shiny new scale makes me want to polish mine up!

Hanging Scale
Product as described and shipped quickly. Easy to calibrate to your sling. Handle design ok but keeps sliding perpendicular to what it should be (aka make sure it is perfectly in the groove before you pick up a baby)

Quality hanging scale
This is a classic. Every midwife I know uses this scale. It's simple to use, portable, well-constructed and beautiful. Also, this is the best price I was able to find for it online. The reason I give it only 4 stars is because I wish it were easier to read. The scale tends to jump around a little as baby swings and jiggles, and it can be difficult to see the exact weight (especially in low lighting.) I have considered buying a digital hanging scale, but there are downsides to those (they turn off within a few seconds after tare-ing, and need batteries.) For what this is, it's great!
