Ingredients
- Comfrey Leaf
- Lavender Flowers
- Shepherd's Purse
- Uva Ursi Leaves
- Plantain leaf
- Red Raspberry Leaves
- Yarrow flowers
- Salt
12 ounces by weight.
Suggested directions
Place 1 cup of herbs in 2 qts. of boiling water and remove from heat. Let herbs steep for 15-20 minutes. Strain and add to additional bath water in a tub being careful not to over dilute. Baby & Mom should soak for at least 20 minutes to allow healing to cord and perineum. Makes 3-4 baths.
Safety
Herbal baths are safe for use a few hours after birth through an indefinite period. Circumstances where using the herbal bath would not be safe would be in the case of a large amount of postpartum blood loss, particularly where the mother is still faint and weak; the heat of the warm bath water can cause complications (obviously if this is the situation, the mother's care provider will likely still be present and dictating care). The only other contraindication for use would be if the mother has an allergy to one of the herbs in the bath mix. The most common allergy (though still very rare) that clients have to this bath is lavender.
This is an In His Hands' special recipe which we blend ourselves. This product is not returnable.

Third Degree Tear Relief
This sitz bath "tea" was perfect for relief after my third degree tear! I waited about a week before soaking, but it was so soothing once I was able to use it. I soaked with my newborn who had some irritation after her umbilical cord came off and her redness was completely gone the next morning. I love this and I would suggest it to anyone after a vaginal birth!

Herbal Afterbirth Bath
These herbs smell wonderful and are so relaxing. They helped me heal post birth and I even used them in my baby’s bath to help heal diaper rash. I also used them as a Sitz bath. Highly recommend!

Loved This!!!!!
Oh my goodness, this herbal bath was INCREDIBLE. The scent is so lovely and relaxing, and the bath itself made me feel so rejuvenated and peaceful. Two days postpartum, this is the best experience of healing I've had in four births, and I definitely think it's partially due to the healing properties of this herbal bath.

So relaxing
I really appreciated having this herbal bath on hand after the birth of my son. He and I took multiple baths using it, and I even ended up ordering more to continue the baths to help heal from the minor tearing I experienced during delivery. It smells fantastic and is a nice, relaxing way to do something to help yourself recover after birth.

Herbal Afterbirth Bath
My clients love it when I show up with a giant tea bag filled with these herbs. The smell is amazing and healing, whether using in a bath or to fill a peribottle.

Sleep like a baby
I ordered to bath teas, the herbal after birth and soothing. I've only used the after birth (I'm 2.5 months postpartum) and loved it. It was a lovely relaxing and bonding bath with my baby girl and after the bath and her body butter massage, she slept so well! She was even snoring, lol. We both slept very well that night.
